Our Handy Man

There are many things I love about Wayne and if I had to narrow it down to the very best things about him I'm not sure this would even make it into the top 20, but  having a husband that can fix ANYTHING is a definite perk!  I have learned over the years that there really is NOTHING he can't fix. From the kids Nintendo DS, to jewelery of any kind, to anything motorized or mechanical to  zipper's and shoelaces and everything in between.  Seriously - I have known him for a looong time and I can't recall a time that he hasn't been able to fix something.  Once he gets started - he just keeps at it long after I've given up hope and the kids have given up interest in what he's doing.I remember when we were first married and we moved into our first apartment.  I was in my last year of college and trying to make a home out of our little apartment without much to go on and one of the first things that happened was the clothes dryer broke.  Well, he fixed the dryer then and he has fixed our dryer so many times since then I've lost count. My honey-do list is always long and I'm sure he wishes he wasn't quite so handy (and we weren't quite so needy), because a family of 8 can generate a wide swath of destruction just in going about the business of living.  I accepted long ago that nothing we own is exempt or safe from little destroyers, but I've also come to count on the fact that sooner or later - Wayne will fix it!

I credit myself with saving us hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in formula by breastfeeding each one of the kids, but Wayne surly has me beat with the repairs he has made over the years.

I can vouch for Wayne, he can fix anything and move his mother-law over many roads and tribulations. What kind of guy is sick and packs and drives a trailer to Dumas and returns before any rest. I very good one in my estimation. Your lovely Mother-law.
