Since I set up a blog about 6 months ago, I figured I should follow through and actually make a post. The timing couldn't be better seeing as our lives have just gotten exponentially busier with the start of school! Its not like I have to take a picture of my laundry room and display just how much I really should be cleaning instead of fighting with the computer tyring to figure out how to make our blog look stunning. I give up!

If I waited until my house was clean there never would be any posts, so here we go: Here are pictures of the kids respective first days of school - is it possible we have 2 kids in High School? (Gable 10th, Maddy 9th, Glory 6th, Zoe 4th, Gracey 1st and Little Eli preschool). The picture of Eli isn't of his first day of preschool, but I couldn't just leave him out.

As we embark on a new school year I have to take a deep breath as I prepare to reenlist as the resident bus driver extraordinare. I have become quite adept at getting the most out of the stationary time by reading and knitting etc. while Eli good naturedly hangs out or catches up on some needed nap time. If you count getting Gable and Maddy to and from seminary, volleyball for Maddy and Glory after school and preschool runs, I'm out and back at least 8-10 times a day! (We are only doing our part to support our local gas stations) I long for the unencumbered days of summer, but I will embrace this learning, growing time in our lives - with the fits over clothes in the morning and the struggle to make everything fit in after school. Being able to share this craziness with this beautiful group makes me the luckiest person in the world!
