Bump - Set - Spike - We're # 1

Volleyball season has us running in circles trying to keep up with 4-5 games a week.  The girls separate schools have their games on the same nights at the same times, so it makes for some creative scheduling (something we've become experts at, if I do say so myself).  We are happy to report that both Madison and Glory are getting ther serves over the net - a huge accomplishment!  They're both following a family tradition and wearing the # 1 jersey - in fact Glory's wearing Maddy's old jersey - that's got to be worth a little luck! 

Glory is all about the experience - she loves being on the court and in the game.  She's the biggest fan when she's not.  She's getting better with every game and during a game last week, something clicked and she's been getting her serves over the net ever since (and at that level, serving is 90% of the game). 

Madison's team went undefeated in their tournament and won a pizza party to boot.  High school volleyball is a grand commitment, and coupled with the courses she's taking and her music, she's walking a very tight rope.  If she makes it through the next month and a half unscathed, we'll consider it a miracle - that or just another blessing from her attending early morning seminary.
