Let the Wild Rumpus Begin:

Wrestling season has begun…

This is what that means for us:
Delivery to and pick up from practice every day including some early morning practices. All-day tournaments every Saturday (begining at about 6:00am) and at least 2 Dual meets during the week (lasting until about 9:45pm). An OVERTIRED son who is always concerned about what he is eating and when he's eating it. And if all that wasn't bad enough it means watching as various punky kids (or should we say little MEN) try to rip our sons head off and hurt him!!!

Also, for Wayne it means breathing exercises to keep from passing out or having a heart attack and for Piper it means embarrassing herself and bringing shame on the entire family because she can’t keep herself from screaming. (there is some primal maternal instinct that comes out when you see your offspring under attack!)

Along with physical pain and exhaustion, mental stress and anguish and extreme organizational skills required to maintain the rest of his crazy schedule, this is what it means for Gable:

And this it what it means for the rest of the crew:
Playing in the stands, reading and catching up on homework, visits to the snack bar, visits to the bathroom and... cheering for Gable.  Eli yells "Gable, be tough, be mad!" and  Maddy tries to keep Wayne and I from embarrassing everyone, but I distinctly heard a scream coming from her, so we're not the only ones bringing shame on the family!
