A story About Glory

Early January:  
"Dad and mom, I've been thinking about my birthday this year and I really don't want anything for me I just want to go to Winter Park with the family.  we don't have to go skiing or anything, I just really want to spend some time as a family together in the mountains, so can we do that for my birthday instead of presents?"
.......well needless to say all of the other kids thought that was a great idea. 
After making a call to see if the Condo we've rented a few times before would be available, we started making plans.  We didn't really know if we could swing it until about a week before her birthday, but as the day got closer the plans were made. 

Then came that beautiful Colorado snowstorm

Well lucky for Glory her dad is slightly crazy and despite my better judgement he loaded up the car and off we went.  The kids even came up with a present or 2. 

And the breakfast really was one of Wayne's best efforts so far...the whipped cream is chocolate and caramel flavored.....and yes it was good!

  

And as an added bonus.....we got Glory a ski lift ticket for the day 

And since a young girl can't go skiing alone.....guess who got to go with her?
