The Show....

So we have been to several performances over the years and each one has brought such a sweet since of righteous pride (let's hope it's righteous pride anyway) like all parents get when their kids do something great.  I have been so thankful for the courage the kids have shown as they choose to share in ways that require a good deal of courage....courage I never could have mustered at their age...heck, I couldn't muster it now.
Well, the talent show at our school came and Zoe and Gracey, and Glory and Eli signed up.....hummmm, what to do?
Glory and Eli decided to do a piano duet and that was a good choice....we've done this before and I was sure they could pull it off with flying colors....which they did and it was wonderful!!  It was so great to see Eli get up there for his first public performance and do so well!  (the piano was in the dark, and the video was terrible, so you'll just have to trust me on this one). 
Zoe and Gracey decided to sing and play the piano, and when they told me I was a little apprehensive.  Sing?  Well it's not that I didn't think Gracey had an angelic voice, but how could she hold a tune with only the piano accompaniment - no melody, and once she got up there in front of a BIG, SCARY crowd, would she freeze up??
Well prepare to be amazed, because I really was.....she did it and she actually stole the show!  Zoe did a fantastic job on the piano too!
