Gable's scouting career has been a long one, but he has had many experiences that have help to shape him into the young man he has become.
There are so many things he will carry with him forever....some that he doesn't even recognize yet,
but some day; maybe when he is called to do something a little out of
the ordinary, or maybe not until he accompanies his own son on a
camp-out; he will be thankful for the wonderful/tiring adventure
scouting has been.
As it stands, being an Eagle scout may be the one thing that makes the difference in him getting accepted to west point.....?
For now, we will simply celebrate his accomplishment.
And smile because he made it......and that it's over.

Gable I have such great memories of watching you and your Dad get ready for a campout of some other adventure. I am so proud that you accomplished this, took alot and made you such a mature young man. This will alway be one of your best moments. Love you Momma
