Gratitude: noun; a feeling of thankfulness and appreciation; Being thankful for the blessings in your life and knowing where they come from; Being patient with the challenges in your life and finding the lesson hidden in them.
Each year in November we have a family home evening and talk about gratitude and we always end by filling a poster board full of the things we are thankful for. We include the BIG things like our Faith and our Family, and the not-so-big like candy and clean sheets. This year I gave the kids the camera and told them to each take a picture of something they were thankful for. (I wish I would have had the foresight to get out of my pajamas first, so here’s my apology ahead of time for any pictures with me in them). Here is what they came up with:
ELI: Food - beacuse it's healthy!
Gracey: Jesus – because I am thankful for Him!
Zoe: Parents – because they take care of me.
Glory: The outdoors – because it is very beautiful to me.
Maddy: My family and good books!
Gable: Here is our teenage son: thankful for toilets and himself - now you know what we’re really dealing with.
(OK, he didn't think I would really include those - on second thought he wanted me to include this picture of our door - to represent our house, but I couldn't resist)
Piper: A clean Basement (and craft room) - including the stairs and our storage room YEAH! Don't underestimate how big a deal that is around here. (Having company is a great motivator!) 
Wayne: The best family in the whole world and an added bonus "the man room"

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE :) I love thanksgiving so much :) I love to eat all the yummy food. My favorite feast food is the turkey... MMM :)
