It's becoming a tradition. When Papa comes to town he and Eli make their famous chocolate chip cookies - not just any old chocolate chip cookies, the BEST chocolate chip cookies ever created. They've got it perfected, from every precisely added ingredient, to the final wrist flip which gives them their unique shape. 
The girls (and Gable) love coming home from school and smelling the enticing scent of baking cookies and then diving into a cold glass of milk while they devour the still-hot, gooey treats.
Who am I kidding - no one loves them more than I do - the kids are just lucky if I happen to be feeling particularly generous and leave some for them. Thankfully the wise chefs usually double (I mean triple - or "fourple") the recipe and have cookies covering the entire island. Usually I can't get them all eaten by the time the kids get home......
But I sure do give it a good try! Thank you Papa and Eli for the Yummy treat!
